Octavio Barattucci sings, composes and plays his songs with his eclectic guitar. The lyrics, all of his own authorship, are sung by his voice; personal and bittersweet. The subject matter ranges from minimal stories that surround him, to panoramic views of society; historical and current.
Thus we find “Candombe Marplatense”, which takes us to the adolescence of a young man and his experiences in the emblematic Atlantic city.
Or “Crónicas del Flaco”, which reveals the life and work of a character from the suburban youth; and “Apedreada Buenos Aires”, which acts as a modern “sainete” and recounts the events of December 2001 with an electro-acoustic tango tone.
